Trades and the Future: close to young people and their dreams
Accompanying young people in discovering their own inclinations and helping them imagine their career path. With the ‘Trades and the Future‘ initiative, we stood in the middle school benches and gave young people the chance to learn about the world of work, explore local production realities and reflect on change as a natural part of personal and professional growth.
Colleagues from the IT, Quality Control, Logistics and Manufacturing teams shared their experiences and growth paths with the students, giving voice to a simple but powerful message: it is never wrong to change direction if what we are doing is not making us happy.
Changing does not mean failing but listening to one’s needs and following one’s desires, learning from what one has experienced and investing in the future with greater awareness.
The same gender differences still limit many people’s choices: while women feel constrained by social expectations and the burden of care work, men feel the pressure to fill prestigious roles, silencing their more sincere ambitions.
With initiatives like this, we strive to propose inclusive role models to young people, capable of inspiring them. To imagine a future free of stereotypes, where change is a resource.
Thanks to the teachers for opening the doors of their classrooms to us and to Confindustria Veneto for involving us in this project.
