Please note that when you browse the Website and when you contact us using the details provided on the Website, we process your personal data (hereinafter the “Data”). More specifically, Morato Pane processes the following Data:

- Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Website acquire, during their normal operation, certain Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of Data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment. These Data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to check that it is functioning correctly, and to identify anomalies and/or abuses. Such Data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site or third parties: apart from this possibility, as things stand, web contact Data are not retained for more than one session.

- Purposes of processing
Morato Pane collects and processes your Data for the following purposes:

- to enable browsing of the Website and the provision of services you may request from Morato Pane from time to time (requests for contact, information, downloading documentation available on the Website, “Provision of the service”);
- to comply with any obligations under applicable laws, regulations or EU legislation, or to satisfy requests from authorities (“Compliance”);
- for statistical purposes, without it being possible to trace your identity (“Statistics”).
- Legal basis and whether provision of data is mandatory or optional
The legal bases used by Morato Pane to process your Data, according to the purposes indicated in Section 3 above, are as follows:

- Provision of the service: processing your Data for this purpose (Section 3.a above) is necessary to provide you with the services and to respond to your requests. The legal basis for such processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation (“[…] processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract”). Providing Data for this purpose is optional, but failure to do so will make it impossible to provide the requested services or respond to your requests;
- Compliance: processing your Data for this purpose (Section 3.b above) is necessary for Morato Pane to fulfil legal obligations or respond to requests from authorities. This processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation (“[…] processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject”). Processing your Data for this purpose is necessary to comply with legal obligations to which Morato Pane is subject. Such processing may involve retaining and disclosing your Data to authorities that may request it for accounting, tax or other purposes;
- Statistics: this processing is not performed on personal Data and may therefore be carried out freely by Morato Pane.
- Recipients of Personal Data
Your Data may be shared, for the purposes described in Section 3, with (the “Recipients”):

- entities typically acting as processors, namely: (i) persons, companies or professional firms providing assistance and consultancy to Morato Pane in accounting, administrative, legal, tax and financial matters relating to the provision of services; (ii) entities with whom interaction is necessary for the provision of services (e.g., hosting providers); (iii) entities tasked with performing technical maintenance (including maintenance of network equipment and electronic communications networks);
- entities, bodies or authorities to whom your Data must be disclosed by virtue of legal provisions, regulations or orders of the authorities;
- persons authorized by Morato Pane to process the Data in order to carry out activities strictly related to the provision of the services, who have committed to confidentiality or have an appropriate legal obligation of confidentiality (e.g., employees of Morato Pane or other companies of the Morato Group);
- companies of the Morato Group, limited to the pursuit of administrative-accounting purposes connected with organizational, administrative, financial and accounting activities.
- Transfers of Personal Data
Some of your Data may be shared with Recipients located outside the European Economic Area. Morato Pane ensures that the processing of your Data by these Recipients is carried out in compliance with the Regulation. Any transfers may be based on an adequacy decision, on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or on another appropriate legal basis provided by the Regulation. Further information is available from the Controller.
- Retention of Personal Data
Data processed for the purposes of Provision of the service (Section 3.a) will be retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve those purposes. Since these processing activities are carried out to provide services, Morato Pane may further retain your Data for the period permitted under Italian law to protect its interests (Articles 2946 et seq. of the Civil Code).
Data processed for Compliance purposes (Section 3.b) will be retained for the time provided for by the specific applicable legal or regulatory obligation. Further information on the retention period and the criteria used to determine such period may be requested by writing to the Controller at the contact details indicated in the “Contacts” section of this Privacy Policy.
- Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation, you may, at any time, request from Morato Pane access to your Data, their rectification or erasure, or object to their processing under Article 21 of the Regulation, request restriction of processing in the cases provided for by Article 18 of the Regulation, as well as obtain the Data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, in the cases provided for by Article 20 of the Regulation.
Requests must be made in writing to the contacts indicated in the “Contacts” section of this Privacy Policy.
In any case, you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali), pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your Data is contrary to the applicable law.
The response times provided for by the Regulation to which we are subject are 1 month from your request (extendable by a further 2 months in cases of particular complexity). You may exercise any of the above rights by writing to privacy@moratopane.com.
- Changes
This Privacy Policy has been in force since 6 May 2023. Morato Pane reserves the right to amend or simply update its content, in whole or in part, also in light of changes in applicable legislation. Morato Pane will inform you of such changes. We therefore invite you to visit this section regularly to take note of the most recent and updated version of the Privacy Policy so that you are always informed about the data collected and how the Controller uses it.
